TV Cabinet for FREE and Fun Find

Once again I am showing another project at Jayme's house. (Someday we will get to my home...)  This turned out super cute and I wish I had better pictures...I will definitely improve on my photography in the future!  This cabinet was left in the house and had a green formica top.  Can't beat free!

The not so cute before!

We removed the broken shelves and formica top.  We then painted it turquoise, sanded it, and glazed it.  Todd topped it with beat-up stained 1x6's.  Really is super cute!

FUNKY FIND!  Love this mirror frame made from recycled magazines....$20 at Ross!

I am linking to Under The Table and Dreaming's Sunday Showcase , Chic on a Shoestring's Flaunt it Friday,  Cottage Instinct's Make it 4 Monday and Furniture Feature Friday.

What an amazing finish you did on that. Looks like a piece from Anthroplogie. Those magazine pieces are great too. I have seen them at Pier 1. I'd love to tackle a project like that some day...

Thanks for commenting on my bead board ceiling tutorial. This is the best and easiest method for doing away with popcorn ceilings. My husband is a painter and has to take a lot of popcorn ceilings down. It is the messiest most miserable job he has to do. He tries to convince his customers to go the bead board route, but for some crazy reason, they rarely choose this solution.

Have a great Sunday...
